How to reach Milan

Milan can be easily reached by air, train, and car. The city is served by two airports, Linate, the city airport of Milan, and Malpensa, about 50 km northwest of the city.

Low cost airlines also fly to Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport, which is connected by a bus service to Milan,

From Linate Airport to Milan

Ordinary city bus (nr. 73) (1 euro tickets can be purchased inside the airport at the news stand or at the vending machine) takes you to the city center (Piazza San Babila). Starfly buses (2.5 euro tickets) take you to Central Station. A cab ride to downtown will cost in the range of 15 euros.

From Malpensa Airport

The train Malpensa Express connects Malpensa Airport with the center of Milan (Milan Cadorna FN Station and Red and Green lines). Travel time is about 40 minutes, with trains that leave in both directions every half-hour. There is also a shuttle bus service from Malpensa to the Central Train Station.
