General Info

DFT is an annual Symposium providing an open forum, combining new academic research to state-of-the-art industrial data, for discussions on all aspects of design, manufacturing, test, reliability and availability that are affected by defects during manufacturing and by faults during system operation. Topics include defect and fault tolerance issues, error detection and recovery, yield and dependability analysis and modelling, testing techniques, yield enhancement techniques, applications and case studies.

Airline Discount for Conference Attendees

We have been able to secure a special discount agreement with United Airlines. A 5% discount off the lowest applicable fare will be offered ONLY when you or your travel agent call United's toll-free number, 1-800-521-4041 and refer to the Meeting ID Number 556AQ. A 10% discount off the unrestricted mid-week coach fares is available when purchased 7 days in advance. Discounts apply on United, Shuttle by United and United Express. Dedicated reservationists are on duty 7 days a week, 7:00 am to 12:00 midnight EST. Book early to take advantage of promotional fares that give you the greatest discount. Symposium Location

The symposium will be held at the Sutton Place Vancouver Hotel (web site). Location is downtown, half a block from the shopping district, with several restaurants in the area.

Travel and Hotel

The hotel rate for conference attendees is $C 149 (currently $US 95) and reservation requests will be handled on a first-come, first-serve basis. All reservations will be made by individuals directly to the reservation department, referring to "IEEE Computer Society DFT" in order to have the special rate. >>further details...
